Our opportunities for sharing our love with others continues to grow! In the past month we have sent shawls to Montana, North Carolina and shared shawls with those in our neighborhoods. Prayers for others, whether we know them or not, are meaning-ful as we have witnessed through the thank you notes we have re-ceived. This is an amazing group of women being God’s hands in his hurting world. If you know of someone who needs a special blessing please let Gabriele Carll, Betsy Pauli or Mary Yobs know.
For the coming months we will be meeting on Wednesdays. Our November 1st at 7 PM meeting will take place in the Board Room in the church. Please invite a friend to be-come a part of this ministry! Yarn is available if needed!

This is a ministry of prayer that we find joy in sharing with others, whether a member of our congregation or not.

Whenever I put my Prayer Shawl on, this is what I feel...
The Hand Made Hugs group has been busy for months, crocheting, knitting and blessing shawls. We have made over 270 shawls since we started in 2013 and given these blessings locally as well as shipping them to faraway places! We pray each time that the love of Christ will be felt as the recipients are wrapped in the shawl.
We will not be meeting again until September 7, 2017.
Have a blessed summer ladies and thank you for your dedication to this wonderful ministry! -Blessings, Gabriele and Betsy
Our faith provides us with the knowledge that God always holds us in His arms. But sometimes it helps to physically feel those arms around us. Prayer shawls offer us that blessing.
A big thank you to all the ladies of the Prayer Shawl Ministry of DCC, called “Hand Made Hugs” for the many shawls they continue to make, whether crocheting or knitting, that bless our congregation and the community/world at large!
If you know of someone who needs to “feel” God’s love please see Betsy Pauli or Gabriele Carll.
The next meeting of the Hand Made Hugs Prayer Shawl Ministry will be on April 6th at 7:00 PM. Please call the office for location. Invite a friend! All are welcomed as we use our hands for God’s work!

We gather at 7:00 PM and have our closing prayer around 8:45. Even if you can only stay one hour, I’m sure you will enjoy the company and the joy of working for Jesus!!!
